After playing Xenoblade 1 and 2, I eagerly anticipated the sequel with high hopes. Now that I've completed it, I wanted to share my thoughts. I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline; the characters were incredibly endearing, and the game mechanics were both engaging and user-friendly. The learning curve was well-managed, and it would easily be a 10/10 game if not for one significant drawback.
Unfortunately, the ending left much to be desired – it felt absurd and poorly executed. I'm hopeful that they will address this issue with a planned DLC, as otherwise, without giving away spoilers, the conclusion left me with the impression of having played a game akin to watching a movie with a highly disappointing ending.
I don't want to discourage anyone from trying the game, but it's important to be forewarned, especially if you appreciate well-crafted endings or games that offer multiple conclusions – as this is not the case here.
