My year 2022 on the Canadian social network Librti has been very rewarding as a virtual meeting with interesting people and as an information quest.
My only problem, which only concerns me and not the network, is that in the middle of the year, my library seems to have blocked some of the network's features. I have lost the ability to see certain icons and other functions, I am still able to participate but it is bothering me.
I won't do an evaluation of my library here but let's just say that if it's easy to talk to the librti administrators, talking to the administrators of the Quebec City library is like the ordeal of Asterix's madhouse.
But to sum up, it's a network that respected my freedom of expression and that of the users during the pandemic and that deserves to be given a chance for 2023

This social network with the very French name of "Parler", although very English speaking, was for me a rediscovery in 2022.
A pleasant rediscovery, I must say, it is easy to use, rather good in its appearance and the information that circulates is rather interesting.
Of course for some Woke, mentioning the name of the social network is like mentioning the name of the devil for some Christians, but don't believe them, Parler offers a pleasant experience as long as you don't sign up to play Throll, admittedly more conservative, that doesn't prevent you from having a multitude of opinions and I stress uncensored in general.
If you're in the mood to try another social network, I'd say this one might be worth a try without embarrassment.

Gettr is not one of the social networks I use the most, not that I hate it, it's still good information, where it hurts is the interface although it has improved in 2022 remains a bit messy on the other hand the number of "bot" seems to me here slightly higher than on other alternative network which brings an additional work to get rid of it.
Gettr seems to make a commendable effort to also welcome the French-speaking community while having a fairly high English-speaking level.
In short I remain mixed it is certainly a network to try if you like to try social networks but it is not for everyone, a little too complicated even for some beginners.
But I think that 2023 will continue to see this social network improve.

I like gab because of the dynamism of its owner Andrew Torba who is dedicated to his network and offers various alternatives.
My only criticism is that the interface still retains its Mastodon related past, a bit archaic in my opinion.
Contrary to what some people say, I have in no way been unwelcome although the number of members I have and follow is probably lower than other networks like Mewe. I have enjoyed following them this year and I think it will be the same in 2023.
The French community is also smaller in gab but the English community more than makes up for it in theme and information.
Anyway, a little subliminal message to my French and bilingual friends, come and have a look for 2023

Mewe is one of the alternative social networks that I have used the most and that has interested me the most in 2022. I like its dynamism, both in terms of members and administrators.
Moreover, for 2023 mewe promises a decentralization that should promote its values of privacy so its members will be able to opt for a decentralized version of the platform built in partnership with Project Liberty or keep the current version of mewe.
Mewe also offers the possibility to join groups on specific or more general topics. You can meet people with whom you are not friends on the internet but with whom you share a passion or common tastes.
Mewe for my part this year 2022 has been a fun and funny network thanks to the open-minded users I met.
The interface is nice, we can use emoticons easily, correct our texts, the facility is not everything for a social network but it remains an interesting aspect
I don't forget that Mewe was one of the social networks that respected my opinion on the pandemic the most without seeing me censored like on Mastodon or ghosted like on Diaspora*.
For my part, 2023 is shaping up to be another good year in my opinion for Mewe.
