My impression of Railway Empire

I played the Nintendo Switch version of this game, which is essentially a train simulation. While it can become repetitive, if you're like me and had a childhood fascination with electric trains, this game is the perfect evolution—now with steam engines. You get to relive the history of the first trains and their development.

The Switch version comes with some additional DLCs included, but I feel the company is pushing it a bit with the sheer number of paid DLCs, many of which are overpriced. It might be worth waiting for a discount before purchasing those.

​Overall, the game is a great buy for train enthusiasts. If you're not one, it's probably best to pass.
